Welcome! I attended Emporia State University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Crime and Delinquency with a minor in History. After working for almost 10 years in the criminal justice profession, I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in addiction from Emporia State. After graduating, I obtained my First Responder Counselor certification as well as my Equine Assisted Counselor certification in order to become more proficient in working with trauma, attachment wounds, first responders, addiction and anxiety disorders.

I believe that at everyone’s core they know what’s truly best for them. Sometimes they need someone to walk beside them and assist them in finding their answers. Other times that means learning new coping skills or connecting our past struggles to current behaviors to gain a deeper understanding of oneself.

I came to CFCC through divine intervention for my internship in May 2020. Throughout my internship I fell in love with the support staff, knowledgeable colleagues and wonderful clients within this organization. God always directs us exactly where we need to go and I'm thankful He brought me to CFCC.

Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time on our little farm with my family, going on adventures to see new things, and just being in nature.
