Hi, I'm Sarah Bennett, a Marriage and Family Therapy intern currently pursuing my Master of Family Therapy degree at Friends University and working toward licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Before entering the counseling field, I spent several years working in the legal profession, where I had the privilege of walking alongside people during some of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for the complexity of human relationships and ultimately led me to pursue a career in therapy.

My passion is working with couples and families as they navigate conflict, communication challenges, life transitions, and relationship repair. I enjoy helping people identify patterns within their relationships and family systems, gain new perspectives, and move toward deeper connection and understanding. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.

I was drawn to Christ First Counseling Center because of its commitment to providing compassionate, Christ-centered care while serving people from all walks of life. I value the opportunity to integrate faith and clinical excellence in a way that honors each client's unique story and goals.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy running, studying theology, writing, and exploring the ways symbolism and story shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us.
