Equine Therapy
Equine therapy offers a unique, experiential approach to counseling that fosters emotional awareness, trust, and personal growth through interaction with horses. In a calm, outdoor setting, individuals, couples, or families engage in guided activities that promote insight, connection, and healing. No prior experience with horses is required.
Horses are highly attuned to human emotions and behaviors, often reflecting patterns that may be difficult to recognize in traditional talk therapy. Working alongside a trained therapist, clients are able to explore communication, boundaries, emotional regulation, and relational dynamics in a hands-on, meaningful way. Equine therapy may be used alongside traditional counseling or as a standalone approach, depending on individual needs.
